We are excited to announce the newest owner of Canopy Lawn Care: Robert “Luke” Lyons. A resident of South Carolina, Luke came to FranCoach looking to build his portfolio – and Canopy offered him that and so much more.
Who Is Luke Lyons?
At 25 years old, Luke may be young – but he is an ambitious go-getter who is far from inexperienced. His current role working with his family’s commercial real estate company has given him deep insight into the business world, and he is excited to apply his learnings and skills to an emerging brand in the home services space.
Luke sees franchise ownership as a path to achieving his long-term growth plans and setting himself up for financial success for years to come. He wants to build a portfolio of businesses and knew that franchising would allow him to take advantage of a proven model rather than starting something from scratch.
Why Did Luke Make a Career Change?
Luke had investigated other home services brands on his own, but quickly realized that expert guidance would help him better evaluate which option was right for him – and that is where the FranCoach team came in to help. From the beginning, Luke knew he wanted to purchase a franchise that would allow him to keep his current job, operating as a semi-absentee owner and scaling his business over time.
At FranCoach, Casey Floyd guided Luke through the Discovery Process, during which he vetted multiple franchise options but ultimately landed on Canopy Lawn Care. Luke is highly involved in his local community, and he saw Canopy as an opportunity to not only enjoy strong returns but also give back by creating job opportunities in his area.
Why Will Luke Make a Great Franchise Owner?
FranCoach’s Casey Floyd, one of our eight knowledgeable franchise coaches, commented that working with Luke was a highly enjoyable experience from start to finish. Here is what Casey has to say about why Luke is sure to succeed:
“Given Luke’s holistic approach to business and his growth mindset, he is already in a position to do very well for himself. I find his commitment to diversifying his portfolio admirable, and I know that his passion to give back to his community will drive him toward incredible success.”
Why Did Luke Choose Canopy Lawn Care?
Canopy Lawn Care is an emerging franchise brand under the Empower Brands umbrella that is focused on bringing a modern, fresh perspective to the lawn care industry. With innovative, science-based turf care practices, Canopy strives to create cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable lawns. Franchise owners benefit from the extensive support provided by the Empower Brands family and the proven business model that facilitates rapid growth.
Luke and the Canopy Lawn Care team shared an immediate mutual attraction. From the start, Luke was able to build strong bonds with the Empower Brands family, and he is excited to foster those strong relationships and enjoy the support of their top-notch team. He appreciates the low overhead and relatively small employee base he will need to start his journey as a franchise owner, and he is proud to represent Empower and Canopy.
Throughout the mutual vetting process, Luke worked with Candace Weeter of Franchise FastLane to learn more about Canopy’s unique offerings. Her stellar communication and advocacy supported Luke’s success as he found his perfect franchise match.
Please join our team at FranCoach in congratulating Luke Lyons and wishing him luck as a new owner of Canopy Lawn Care.
