Husband-Wife Franchise Owners Look for “Xponential” Growth

We are excited to announce the newest owners of BFT: Cory and Via Gilbert. This husband-and-wife team is thrilled to expand their financial portfolio through franchise ownership and pave the way toward a bright future for their growing family.

Who Are Cory and Via Gilbert?

Parents to two young children, Cory and Via Gilbert are both skilled engineers who work full-time. They enjoy rewarding careers doing what they love – but they’re also looking ahead and thinking about their financial future.

They came to us at FranCoach looking for a business that could offer them flexibility through a semi-absentee model, meaning they could keep their jobs and be involved in the franchise on a part-time basis. Down the road, the additional revenue from their franchise could serve as an exit strategy should one of them decide to leave the corporate world.

Why Did Cory and Via Make a Career Change?

As any parent knows, raising toddlers is nothing if not a challenge. Cory and Via are hoping that franchise ownership will help them gain some flexibility and control over how they spend their time in the long run. That way, they will be able to prioritize family even more.

Through the semi-absentee ownership model that BFT offers, Cory and Via will both be able to keep the jobs that they love while still diversifying their revenue. They knew they wanted a high-quality service, something that they could look at and say, “This is a best-in-class business.” They wanted to work with a brand they could proudly stand behind – and with BFT, they’ve met that goal.

Why Will Cory and Via Make Great Franchise Owners?

At FranCoach, the Gilberts worked with Founder and CEO Tim Parmeter to find the franchise that was their perfect match. Here’s what Tim has to say about why they’ll excel in their new role as owners:

“They’re already smart, successful individuals. But beyond that, they understand the importance of following the plan that the franchisor has laid out for them.”

Cory and Via are excited to take on business ownership without all of the struggles of a startup. They love the support that BFT, which is part of the Xpotential Fitness group, can offer them – and their passion for creating a fantastic customer experience is aligned with what BFT and Xponential Fitness value.

Why Did Cory and Via Choose BFT?

BFT, which stands for Body Fit Training, is an internationally renowned boutique fitness brand with over 240 studies worldwide. Each studio thrives, offering 50-minute cardio and resistance workouts that are backed by science.

With a personal passion for fitness, Cory and Via were already interested in the industry and connected with the best-in-class experience that BFT provides to its members. But the brand’s connection to Xponential Fitness, a fitness franchise group with over 10 recognized brands (including Pure Barre, Club Pilates, CycleBar, and others), was also very appealing.

Cory and Via are excited to benefit from the overwhelming support that this large-scale group can offer its franchisees. And with their interest in fitness, dedication to the franchisor’s plan, and commitment to excellence, we’re sure to see the Gilberts succeed.

Please join our team at FranCoach in congratulating Cory and Via Gilbert and wishing them luck as new owners of BFT!
